okay, tomorrow morning i have to the dmv of california and register my car. i thought this would be a simple thing. i made my appointment. i just realized that it's not a simple thing. i printed out the check list and i have to have a smog test! i knew i would have to have one eventually. the problem is that eventually has arrived, and i have to have it done before my registration appointment. so. i work tomorrow. here is how the day should go.
8am car parts store - to buy tons of things you put in your gas tank to help take down the emissions level
9am walmart- oil change, to help reduce the chance of failing the smog test
930am shell gas station - smog test
1040am dmv- registration appointment
1pm - work until 10pm
this is going to suck

Smog test?! Have they looked at their air in L.A. lately? How can they tell the difference between a car putting out emissions and their "normal" breathing air? When we drove up into the Hollywood Hills and looked back at L.A., I thought we were a couple o' thousand feet up above the clouds. Nope. Just the L.A. smog floating over the city. I suggest you reschedule your appointment for late in the afternoon, that way the smog will be so thick from the day that they won't be able to see you... INSATANT PASS!
